Custom Heaters and Research’s rugged DTC1 Digital Heater Controller can be mounted to most any of our Heating Jackets or connect via a Power Cable with a Quick-Disconnect terminal.
This On/Off digital heater controller is used on some of our Drum & Tote Heaters. This industrial heater controller has proven its ability to be durable in our Motorsports Division over many years. Our digital heater controller is simple, accurate and built to last.
On/Off Digital Heater Controller Features:
- Ability to function at 120v or 240v
- Temperature Range from 0-212F (248F/120C upon request)
- PTC 1000 Ohm sensing
- Ability to easily change the Set Point
- Typically, a Maximum Allowable Set Point is entered
- Totally Locking Out is possible
- Easy to read Back Lit LCD Display to show Process value
- Ability to display Celsius or Fahrenheit (select at time of purchase)
- NEMA 4X enclosure for outdoor use

The DTC1 Series Electronic Temperature Controls are single-stage, electronic temperature controls with a single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) output relay.
DTC1 controls feature a backlit LCD with adjustable brightness and three-button touchpad interface that can be set up to restrict user adjustments. Locking the Advanced Settings, entering a Maximum Allowable Set Point or simply Locking the DTC1 so it can only run or be off is also possible.
An Green LED in between the Up/Down arrows indicates the output relay’s On/Off status.
DTC1 controls have simple On and Off temperature settings, an adjustable anti-short cycle delay, temperature setback, and sensor offset capability.
Standard Temperature Control range is 40 to 212°F or -40 to 100°C, with an option for Higher Temperature Maximum of 248F/120C.
