APPLICATIONS

CHR supplies enclosure heaters for protection against frost and condensation in enclosures containing electronic equipment, such as ATMs, temperature control panels, and control value housings.

As standard stock items, enclosure heaters can be supplied at 25, 50, 100 and 200 watt for 120 V or 240 V supply.

Heater assemblies can be supplied for either integral or remote 15°C/60°F air temperature sensing thermostats.

Enclosure Heaters CHARACTERISTICS

Enclosure heaters have a good resistance to the following: photodegradation, weathering fungus and bacteria, acetone, alcohol, formic acid, brake fluid, acetic acid, greases, hydrochloric acid 10%, sulfuric acid 10%, waxes plasticizers. In addition to this, the heaters have adequate gas permeability and good steam resistance up to 130°C and 2.5 bar respectively.

INSTALLATION

The enclosure heaters to an aluminum mounting plate that allows for easy installation. The mounting surface is perpendicular to the heater and has two mounting holes. Heaters with an integral thermostat should be vertically mounted with the sensor towards the base of the enclosure.

Thanks for all your help with our project. Our “heater bag” worked perfectly right out of the box, no adjustments were necessary to achieve our goal of 200 degrees to 225 degrees for 10 days straight. The heat up time to 200 degrees was achieved in 21 hours from a starting point of 75 degrees F. We maintained a temperature span on the item of less than 10 deg. We completed the job on time with little or no need to adjust any of the pre-set controllers. We could not be happier with the performance of the heater bag.
